Are you frustrated or embarrassed because your dog jumps, barks or can’t settle down when you have people over? Do you worry your dog will damage your friend's clothes or that they might rather not come over just because of your dog? Is this behavior causing problems in your family?

This is NOT what you envisioned when you got your dog.

Plus, your dog is such a sweetheart most of the time!

Have You Already Tried...

Making your dog sit?

Making your dog lie down?

Holding your dog's collar?

Telling your dog "Off!"?

Using a leash?

Putting your dog away?

Treating your dog?

Going to a mat with treats?

Using a squirt bottle? Cans of pennies?

A vibrating collar? An E-collar? A shock collar?

.....But nothing has worked?

What if there was a way you could keep your dog calm with your friends and family?

A simple and effective way that could radically transform your social life at home?

There is.

I’m Dr. Carolyn Lincoln, a veterinarian for 30 years, and a professional dog trainer and dog agility competitor for over 12 years.

I’ve helped hundreds of dog owners teach their dog self-control and skills that make managing their behavior easier and all the while, improve their relationship with their dog as well.

But when I first started doing house calls, I too, had a problem with some dogs and I quickly discovered my client's need for a simple, effective method to keep their dogs calm and well-behaved around their friends and family...

...so I developed The Play To Behave System and have refined it over the years.

It works and I'd like to share it with you.

The Play To Behave System

By making a few small changes to your normal routine and following the Play To Behave System, you can start setting up your dog to be calm, to be a better companion and to be a dog you are proud to introduce to your friends.

The Play To Behave System works using just 5 simple steps:

  • Plan and Prepare
  • Confine Your Dog
  • Introduce Your Dog
  • Entertain, Manage and Control Your Dog
  • Monitor and Access

You might be able to manage these steps easily but if not, know that you aren't alone. Even if you've haven't had any problems with your dogs in the past, every dog is different and that makes the details of each step important.

To make this system effective, you need to understand your dog's behavior and have the ability to communicate with your dog.

The type of training is critical too, because the right training builds confidence, trust in you and a sense of security which all help to keep your dog calm when friends and family visit. Your dog needs to learn self-control and you will need to train skills to manage and control your dog.

Now you can take an interactive LIVE online course to learn all of these steps in detail.

What is included in the "Keep Your Dog Calm When Guests Arrive" LIVE online interactive course?

Each week, you will work with me on one step in detail.

You'll have time to ask questions, give and get feedback. There will also be time to work with your dog during the sessions and in some cases, show me on video exactly what you need help doing.

...and as a bonus... your training and the fundemental concepts you use to relate to your dog will almost always change your dog's other behavior for the better too!

This format will provide you with expert instruction and a community of other dog owners, while you save you travel time going to a local class where, often, your dog has more trouble learning because of all the distractions. Instead, you can learn in the comfort of your own home

You can train your dog to become an absolute joy to come home to, knowing they watch out for you, your family, and your home, but also understand when to welcome friends.

In less time than you think, you can start enjoying the lifestyle you've always intended by making a few small changes.

When I think about the joy that comes from having a dog that is your best friend, I am reminded of what my clients have told me...

... like Denise who had a large 115# male English Sheepdog named Buddha, who could not be trusted with visitors. Denise's world got smaller and smaller since she couldn’t host her book club, take walks or have friends over. Or another client, Jeff with Bumble, a sweet but exhuberant male husky/lab who was already 46.5# at only 4 ½ months old and then there was Sophie and Nick, who struggled with their rescue, Rufus, with a number of behaviors. They wrote:

I couldn’t be happier with his behavior at home. He is out of the crate almost all the time and has his self-management under control. - Jeffrey Mostade

"I’ve tried so many things over the years that just didn’t work and now, I can honestly say that it was a brilliant choice on my part to work with Dr. Lincoln. Finally, I can manage my dog in a way that makes both of our lives better. Thank you for making that possible for us." - Denise Montrose

We have now had multiple success encounters/visits with Rufus meeting our friends/ family. Thank you so much! Your love and care for animals is a great thing and a special gift! - Sophie Ruiz

If you are struggling to keep your dog calm when guests arrive, like Denise, Jeff and Sophie, my new course, “Keep Your Dog Calm When Guests Arrive” can help.

This program is going to be interactive, and since it’s an online coaching program...

I have to inform you… registration will only be open for a short time. On Friday, 3/29/19 registration will close so we can start the class.

Since you’re reading this page, I am going to guess you are embarrassed or worried about your dog when you have people over…

...or you’ve stopped inviting anyone over because your dog gets so overexcited, anxious or unruly that basically it’s impossible to enjoy time with your friends.

Once you can manage and control your dog when people visit, this can all change.

Here's what's included in the 5 interactive modules in The “Keep Your Dog Calm When Guests Arrive” course:

Module 1: Start The Change

You'll rule out any health-related causes for your dog's behavior. You'll also train 3 basic skills that can have an immediate impact on your dog's behavior, release mental and physical energy, improve your relationship, give you more control and help keep your dog focused on you.

Module 2: Plan and Prepare

You'll plan and prepare for visitors so that your dog is set up for success, both physically and mentally. You'll provide your dog with a space where they are exposed to visitors without pressure, allowing time to adapt, ensure safety and provide a sense of security. You'll also prepare your home for visitors in a way that sets your friends and family up for success.

Module 3: Introducing Your Dog

You will take steps to prevent behavior you don't want and also manage how your dog is introduced to your guests. You will determine the best timing, level and type of interactions.

Module 4: Engagement and Control

You will teach your dog more skills that will provide you with control and management, such as a solid recall (come when called), go to a mat or place and an emergency down. You'll offer activities to keep your dog busy so you can enjoy your friends.

Module 5: Monitor and Assess

You will learn to read your dog's body language so you can monitor and assess your dog's state of mind and need for time away before your dog becomes difficult to manage.

PLUS 3 EXTRA BONUSES & A 30-Day NO QUESTIONS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE!

FAQ And Is This The Right Course For You?

How do the calls work and what if I don't want to be or can't be on video?

The course calls will be on software called Zoom. Zoom is fantastic. I've used it for 2 years with my students and others. It's very simple. You will get a link to join the call. You can choose to join by telephone only or by computer.

If you join by computer, you might need to download something but rest assured that I pay for the service and you won't get any viruses or have any other problems as a result. It is a secure system. Once you are connected by computer, you can choose if you want to have video on or not. You can be on video anytime by clicking a link and be off camera anytime by clicking the same link.

Once we get on a call, I'll show you how you can mute the call and also how you can raise your hand. I chose software that I know is safe, very very easy to use and allows you to choose how you want to interact. You can just listen if that's what you decide.

Even when there are times I share things you may want to see on video, you can always watch the recordings.

What if I can't make one of or even all of the calls?

I understand and that's why I'll have recordings of the calls available on the website, Play To Behave Training. You can also email me with any questions you want me to answer on a call and you'll have access to me through the private facebook group. With people in all different time zones, I imagine there will be a number of you that can't make every call.

What age dog is the course designed for?

The course is designed to help you with puppies and dogs of all ages.

Are you a "positive trainer"?

YES, I use "positive-based reinforcement", sometimes also called a "reward-based training." NO, that doesn't mean "giving the dog cookies." It means, reinforcing the right behaviors at the right times in the right ways, so your dog's behavior improves.

How do I get access to the training?

As soon as you purchase the course, you'll receive an email with details to access your account. From there you'll be able to log in. The LIVE course dates are: April 10, April 17, April 24, May 1 and May 8. The follow-up Q&A Session will be on June 5, 2019. All module sessions will be at 7:00 PM EST for 1 hour but we will continue longer if needed for questions.

Do you ever punish a dog?

In short: No. For a more detailed answer, go here.

What if my dog barks, growls or snaps at my friends?

This course can help you improve your dog's behavior but if there is any risk of injury to yourself, to any other person or to your dog, then I recommend you seek professional one-on-one help. I can't diagnose or treat behavior over the internet. The methods of training, exercising your dog, confinement and reading your dog's body language will all help you keep your dog calm when you have visitors, but again, safety is number one and it's important you get all the help you need before you physically introduce your dog.

Is there a guarantee if I'm not happy?

Yes. No questions asked. If you aren't satisfied within 30 days, I will refund your money.
